Electronic Signature
Basic Electronic Signature (BES) is a digital signing method defined by the European Union’s eIDAS Regulation. It does not require qualified certificates or complex cryptographic devices. Under eIDAS, it represents the most basic level of electronic signature (compared to Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) and Qualified Electronic Signature (QES)) and can be used to express a person’s intent, although it provides a lower level of security and identity assurance.
Qualified Electronic Signature
Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) is the highest level of electronic signature defined by the eIDAS Regulation. It is based on a qualified certificate issued by a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP) and uses a secure signature creation device. ARXivar Sign provides a one-shot Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) service. The qualified certificate is issued temporarily by a Qualified Trust Service Provider and used for a single signing transaction, following strong identity verification via SPID, CIE, or video identification.
Advanced Electronic Signature
For a more robust verification of the signer’s identity, ideal for scenarios requiring the highest level of security, ARXivar Sign integrates ARXivar Onboarding into the advanced electronic signature workflow.
To have legal validity, an Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) must meet three fundamental requirements:
Graphometric Signature
The Graphometric Signature is a specific type of Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) obtained by capturing the signer’s biometric data while they apply their signature on dedicated digital devices – such as tablets, signature pads, or smartphones – securely and irrevocably linking this data to the signed electronic document.

The user receives a protected link via email with strong authentication* and starts the electronic signature process. In the case of an Advanced Electronic Signature process, the signer is identified through Artificial Intelligence, SPID, or CIE.
*Optional
The user views the documents and the workflow guides them through the selection of signature fields and the entry of all required information. Once the signature summary is confirmed, the phone number associated with the user’s session is verified through an OTP code (SMS or email), and the signature is applied to the documents.
At the end of the process, all parties involved receive an email notification to download the signed documents. The evidence related to the electronic signature and identification process (Audit Trail document, videos, images, logs, and mathematical results) is legally preserved within the ARXivar eArchiving system.

You will no longer need to chase anyone: the system automatically sends reminders to signers, significantly reducing waiting times and speeding up contract completion.
When the service is activated, 5 users are included and can access the electronic signature session management service.
You can create and save your standard contracts or documents as templates, allowing you to start new signature requests in just a few seconds without having to repeat the setup each time.
Automate the entire new customer acquisition process, making it faster, paperless, and compliant with anti-money laundering (KYC) regulations, while improving the user experience and reducing operational costs.
AI speeds up document preparation by automatically recognizing the fields to be signed and the data to be entered, minimizing errors and reducing the time spent on manual setup.
After signing, the customer or signer is automatically redirected to a specific page (e.g., your website or a survey), improving the user experience and facilitating commercial follow-up.
Add an extra layer of security with two-factor authentication, ensuring that only the person in possession of the phone can complete the signature process, protecting you from unauthorized access.
Fully customize the interface with your logo and corporate colors, providing your customers with a professional signing experience consistent with your brand and strengthening your image.
Add proof that your document existed at an exact date and time (certain and enforceable against third parties), protecting you from any disputes regarding the precise moment of creation or signature.
Fully customize the interface with your logo and corporate colors, offering your customers a professional signing experience consistent with your brand and strengthening your image.
Automatically sign large quantities of digital documents quickly and securely, transmitting only the digital fingerprint (SHA-256, Base64 encoding) without sending the original documents.
